Dewalt Cordless Tools

Do you know where to find good deals on Dewalt cordless power tools?  I am looking for a Dewalt cordless hammer drill and a Dewalt cordless screwdriver.  Finding a good price on a Dewalt cordless nailing gun or a Dewalt cordless circular saw would be helpful, as well.

Here is a review that I found online:

Our crews use a lot of different makes of cordless drills and when they need one from the shop they used to grab one of the Makitas but now their first choice is the DeWalt DCD970 drill. The DeWalt deliver a lot more power over a longer period of time. Part of this is their having the biggest (and heaviest) lithium ion battery and part of it is the 3 speed gearbox.

We use the Hole Pro adjustable hole cutters a lot and the low speed setting is perfect for good cutting speed and having enough power to cut 8-1/4" holes in TJI or plywood. The middle speed we have learned makes for smoother cutting with hole saws though we have switched to using Blue Boar TCT hole cutters 90% of the time. We can easily cut 6" holes in inch thick plywood with an 18 volt cordless and the very efficient Blue Boar hole cutters.

Amazon Promotional Claim Codes

If you mean the amazon promotional codes, I have some suggestions:

Most of amazon promo codes would be released during the first week monthly, and you can find them from amazon special offers & promotion page or on the some famous coupon sites.

For amazon.com, my favorite site is amazon discount finder (http://unlockyourdollar.blogspot.com), because it can let you search secret discount besides the amazon promo codes lists. The most important thing is that it organizes all amazon promotional claim codes by category, and easy to search and use.

Other coupon site such as retailmenot.com and dealsea.com are all good.

Final method : Google.

Good luck.

Printable Coupons

In marketing, a coupon is a ticket or document that can be exchanged for a financial discount or rebate when purchasing a product. Customarily, coupons are issued by manufacturers of consumer packaged goods or by retailers, to be used in retail stores as a part of sales promotions. They are often widely distributed through mail, magazines, newspapers, the Internet, and mobile devices such as cell phones. Since only price conscious consumers are likely to spend the time to claim the savings, coupons function as a form of price discrimination, enabling retailers to offer a lower price only to those consumers who would otherwise go elsewhere. In addition, coupons can also be targeted selectively to regional markets in which price competition is great.

In government, a coupon is a paper certificate used to administer a benefit or permission.  Printable Coupons

Krill Oil Benefits

Krill Oil Benefits

With more and more people becoming health conscious and adding natural supplements to their diets, krill oil has become increasingly popular for numerous reasons. To better understand the benefits of krill oil, we need first to know what a krill is.

Krill are small crustaceans that resemble a shrimp. They are most predominant in the colder oceans like the Antarctic and the North Pacific Ocean. They are fairly small, normally only one to five centimeters long. They are eaten by whales, seals, penguins, among other oceanic life. Before krill oil became popular, krill were harvested to feed aquatic life in aquariums, bait, and food called okiami for the Japanese.

Isn't fish oil the same thing? One might think so, but there are major differences. Fish oil has a very short shelf life, and does not have the antioxidant properties that krill oil has. When compared to fish oil, krill oil was discovered to be forty-eight times more potent.

The benefits of krill oil have been studied for a long time. Some research dates back twenty years. A number of those studies involve how krill oil affects cholesterol. The results were very positive showing that krill oil actually reduces bad cholesterol (LDL) by thirty-four percent and increases good cholesterol (HDL) by forty-three percent. Fish oil percentages were not nearly as impressive, remaining in the single digits.

Fish oil and krill oil both have the beneficial Omega III fatty acids that are important to cardio-health reducing the risks of possible heart disease.

Aside from aiding in cholesterol levels, krill oil offers other benefits. Such as the following:

~    Better concentration and memory.
~    Controlling blood sugar levels.
~    Aids in keeping joints healthy.
~    Decreases the signs of aging.
~    Promotes brain and nervous system health, function, and development.
~    Increased cell membrane protection.
~    Promotes liver health.
~    Gives relief for premenstrual symptoms.
~    Boosts the immune system.
~    Aids mood disorders
~    Encourages healthy skin and reduces skin damage.
Also, if you are currently taking fish oil supplements, you may be experiencing "fishy" belches and aftertaste. Due to the quicker absorption of krill oil, you do not get any of that.

To date there are very few negative side effects associated with krill oil. The biggest precaution is issued to persons suffering from shell-fish allergies. Remember that krill are a crustacean and those that suffer allergies should definitely consult with their physician before taking krill oil.

Krill oil can be a little more expensive than fish oil, but if you truly want to have more advantages with regards to your health, krill oil is the obvious choice. By taking krill oil, you can reduce the number of anti-oxidant supplements that you are currently taking.

Krill Oil & Omega-3 Help Bone and Joint Health

Omega-3 phospholipids help maintain bone and joint health

Omega-3 = EPA + DHA

Bone and joint disease and disorders
Bone and joint disease and disorders cause considerable discomfort, pain, and functional impairment among populations in today’s industrialized societies. The harmful mechanisms are generally abnormal bone metabolism, accompanied by altered bone resorption and formation, or inflammatory processes in joints. Omega-3 in phospholipid form is suggested as a significant nutritional factor associated with alleviating symptoms and lessening discomfort due to bone and joint disease and disorders.

Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease in which inflammation is prominent. Inflamed and swollen joints result in functional impairment, pain, and stiffness. NSAIDs are typically prescribed to reduce RA pain and other symptoms. Many harmful side effects of such drugs are recognized; these include increased risk of cardiovascular disease, loss of bone mass (osteoporosis), and gastrointestinal distress. Awareness of undesirable side effects has stimulated considerable interest in alternative RA treatments.

Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis is the most common joint disease worldwide. The likelihood of onset increases with age. Osteoarthritis, the result of cartilage catabolism and bone degradation, is characterized by general joint stiffness, especially in the morning, and joint pain. Several conditions can contribute to development of osteoarthritis, such as overweight, bone fractures, and excessive exercising. Traditional treatment of osteoarthritis comprises physical activity, NSAIDs, and surgery. Omega-3 is considered a useful support therapy.

Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis, a disease reported as common worldwide, results in considerable pain and immobility among its sufferers, who are often post-menopausal women. Characteristic symptoms are loss of bone mass and increased risk of bone fractures. Genetic factors are considered responsible for 70% of the interindividual variance in bone mass. Consequently, the most significant causative factors are not modifiable. Lifestyle and diet, the two most important non-hereditary factors determining interindividual bone mass variance, are indeed highly modifiable. Appropriate nutrition and lifestyle factors in childhood and adolescence are credited with reducing the risk of osteoporosis later in life.

Maintaining bone and joint health with omega-3 phospholipids
Nutritional factors are recognized as key to maintaining good bone, cartilage, and joint health through life. Omega-3 has been proposed as playing an important role in lessening the risk and severity of bone and joint disease and disorders. Omega-3 has been reported to be effective in reducing the intensity of joint pain, the duration of morning stiffness, and the number of painful and tender joints identified in patients with inflammatory joint disease. Reduced administration of NSAIDs among patients with inflammatory joint disease has been confirmed when omega-3 supplements are taken. Because almost no undesirable side effects accompany intake, omega-3 has been proposed as a safe supplement to joint pain medicine or as an alternative mode of treatment.

Mechanisms by which omega-3 phospholipids maintain bone and joint health
Omega-3 benefits bone health via several proposed mechanisms which affect bone metabolism, inflammatory reactions in bone and joints, cartilage degradation, and local inflammation. Most skeletal growth and bone formation occur in childhood and adolescence; peak bone mass is reached in early adulthood. Bone resorption and formation, called the bone remodeling cycle, continue throughout adult life. Omega-3 is indicated as having beneficial effects on skeletal growth in childhood and adolescence, and the bone remodeling cycle. Omega-3 is thus considered to help maintain bone health in all age categories. Omega-3 is also thought to play a role in delaying the degradation of articular cartilage and, hence, supplementation may lessen arthritis symptoms. Further, omega-3 in diet can modulate inflammatory reactions in joints. Various inflammatory cells are produced when an inflammatory reaction is launched. Presence of omega-3 in cell membrane phospholipids results in less vigorous inflammatory reactions — and production of inflammatory cells that are less harmful to cells and tissues. Less vigorous inflammatory processes in joints, fewer symptoms, and diminished severity of RA bone disease and disorders are attributed to appropriate omega-3 status.

Superba™ Krill Oil: a superior source of omega-3 phospholipids for maintaining bone and joint health
Superba™ Krill Oil provides omega-3 in phospholipid form, mainly as phosphatidylcholine. Omega-3 availability is enhanced when delivered as phospholipids, compared with triglycerides, due to enhanced absorption and the role played by omega-3 phospholipids in transporting fatty acids in blood. Phosphatidylcholine is essential for transport of fatty acids from the liver to tissues, and has an impact on the distribution of fatty acids to various organs and tissues. Phospholipids are necessary components for the synthesis of particles that transport lipids in blood. In the absence of phosphatidylcholine, transport of fatty acids to tissues is modified. Because Superba™ Krill Oil is rich in omega-3 phospholipids, Superba™ Krill Oil is proposed as more effective in maintaining bone health and reducing the symptoms and severity of bone disease, compared with omega-3 triglycerides.

Superba Krill Oil

Superba™ Krill Oil – beneficial effect on cholesterol

New study:
Superba™ Krill Oil – beneficial effect on cholesterol

A new study performed for the biotechnology company Aker BioMarine has demonstrated that Superba™ Krill Oil might be of benefit in individuals with metabolic syndrome and fatty liver. These results are important because they confirm previous findings.

In the pre-clinical study, feeding mice a high-fat diet led to a significant increase in the amount of fat and cholesterol in the liver. A control group was fed a low-fat diet. The food supplement Superba™ Krill Oil, which is rich in omega-3 phospholipids, significantly reduced fat and cholesterol in the liver of mice fed the high-fat diet.

It is significant that Superba™ Krill Oil had a beneficial effect on fatty liver and cholesterol in our experimental animals, said Dr. Jeffrey Cohn. He was leader of the study that was performed by the internationally acknowledged research group in Australia.

Moreover, the results showed that Superba™ Krill Oil reduced the level of cholesterol in the blood. Mice fed the high-fat diet had a 65% increase in cholesterol level relative to mice fed the low-fat diet. Addition of Superba™ Krill Oil decreased the amount of cholesterol to a ”normal level” in mice fed the high-fat diet.

Aker BioMarine has in this study documented the effects of Superba™ Krill Oil in cooperation with a leading research team in the scientific field. This study confirms previous findings published in June 2009, and shows that Superba™ Krill Oil might have beneficial effects in persons with metabolic syndrome and that Superba™ Krill Oil might have beneficial effects on the cholesterol level, says M.D. Hogne Vik, EVP, Documentation, Aker BioMarine.

The study is published in Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry and is available online at http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/jf9016042.
